  • What is a Customized Doll?
A customized doll is a doll that has been stripped bare, and many times her hair "yanked" out. Then it has to be rerooted with new hair or the ever popular molded hair has to be applied. Her makeup has been partially or fully removed and then repainted using acrylic paints. She has had new outfits made just for her... the works. Basically it's like a day at the spa... except it takes more than a day.
There are some fantastic artists out there so if you are interested in learning more, search the web, sign up for some lists and let your creativity flow. Believe me, people will think you are nuts and you probably are to some degree... but at least you will be having some fun!
