This was a fun doll to do. It was created for a personal swap with Darla who I met thru CustomDolls. We emailed back and forth and talked about our hobbies and what each of liked and then decided to proceed without a particular theme. Oddly enough, we both ended up sending mermaids.
The doll/sculpture I made her is mounted on a rock covered in "sea life". Her tail was molded and painted and then covered in iridescent and light pink sequins. Her upper body has been painted with complimentary colors and her entire upper body was treated with an iridescent film. She has aqua eyes and rooted lashes.
