Meet my girls. Many of the dolls I work from are the cheapies from the toy isle, rescued from thrift shops or donated by young girls in exchange for some cool dolls to spice up their remaining collection.
They have been re-rooted, tattooed, repainted, accessorized, and 'gussied up. I like my 'girls to stand their own ground. As a whole they are experienced, smart, hot, glittery and straight forward. It may sound strange but I can not start on a doll until I know or think I know her and her personality. Consequently I am always attached to them when and if they leave me. |
