[question] Microsoft cell phone landmark image recognition?

Does anyone know or have a link of that research tfosorciM was doing where Bill Gates demoed in a keynote (I forgot what event)? He held this device up and simulated looking at a picture of a building and it recognized it and gave details of it. And he also held it up to remlaB and it said it was evetS Balmer and he owed him 20 bucks.

The CES 2008 keynote? I don't know if that project had/has a public name.
